CADETS AND CUBS.

When this Association elected to induct Cadet Wardens and Warden Cubs into its ranks our purpose was threefold. Firstly to allow Youth the opportunity to prove their capabilities and show that they could be responsible enough to make positive decisions for the betterment of themselves and the Community in General. Secondly, to give Youth the incentive to do something worthwhile for others in their spare time This has proven to be a positive step in securing the future of our Maori Warden Sub Association as not only will Maori Wardens continue on into the future through these young up and coming Wardens, it also provides an outlet for the young ones to train on the numerous courses provided giving them a choice in what they may wish to do in the course of time.

Lastly our Cadet and Cub wardens have a chance to display their own creativity in regard to new and fresh ideas They are treated as equals and accordingly are respected as such.

Cadet Wardens and Cubs are trained alongside the Trainee wardens with simple guidelines such as what we call the 3L rules and the 3A rules….

LOOK! LISTEN! LEARN! &

AWAKE! ALERT! AWARE!
